Convenience Store Part-Timer Involved in Theft... 40s Under Police Investigation

On the 4th, the Songpa Police Station in Seoul announced that they are investigating a man in his 40s, Mr. A, on suspicion of theft.
Mr. A is accused of stealing approximately 2 million won worth of cash, rechargeable prepaid cards, snacks, and other items from a convenience store in Songpa-gu, Seoul, where he works, on the 1st. It is known that this was his first day on the job.
The convenience store owner immediately reported Mr. A to the police that day, and the police identified him by reviewing closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage.
