Inauguration of Kim Myora as President of the Gyeongbuk Women Entrepreneurs Association
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Koo Dae-sun] The Gyeongbuk Women Entrepreneurs Association held the inauguration ceremony for the 10th president on the 3rd at Geumosan Hotel in Gumi City.
The Gyeongbuk Women Entrepreneurs Association was established in 2004 to facilitate information exchange on management, finance, and marketing among women entrepreneurs and to improve the rights and interests of women entrepreneurs. Currently, 269 female representatives of small and medium manufacturing companies located in Gyeongbuk are members across 15 branches.
Kim Myo-ra (59), who was inaugurated as the 10th president, is the CEO of Daeyoung Precision, which produces television electronic components. She has actively contributed to regional economic development by serving as the senior vice president of the Gyeongbuk Women Entrepreneurs Association and as the female president of the National Volunteer Fire Brigade Federation.
President Kim’s term will last until the end of December 2024.
In her inauguration speech, President Kim stated, “I would like to thank President Park Un-hyung for leading our association, which represents Gyeongbuk’s manufacturing industry. As the new president, I will do my best to unite the capabilities of women entrepreneurs in Gyeongbuk and make our organization a role model for the local community.”
