DTx Company Hi Organizes Digital Healthcare Seminar for Seniors
[Asia Economy Reporter Chunhee Lee] Hi, a company specializing in digital therapeutics (DTx), announced on the 3rd that it will hold a "Well-Aging Seminar" to introduce and guide the use of digital healthcare services for seniors aged 50 and over, in collaboration with the DTx Research Center under the Yonsei University Institute for Future Convergence.
Through the Well-Aging Seminar, Hi plans to participate in enhancing seniors' understanding of digital health services and introducing ways to utilize them for health management. Starting with this seminar, they plan to hold quarterly sessions on different topics helpful for senior health care.
The first seminar will be held on the 8th at 2 p.m. at the IBK Corporate Bank Hall in Baekyangnuri, Yonsei University, under the theme "Postmenopause, Women's Health Management." Professor Seokgyo Seo from the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Shinchon Severance Hospital will be the speaker.
The Well-Aging Seminar will continue with lectures by top domestic specialists in each field on topics such as "Depression in Old Age," "Dementia Prevention," and "Cerebrovascular Diseases." The seminar is hosted by the DTx Research Center under the Yonsei University Institute for Future Convergence, organized by Hi, and involves participation from Yonsei University, Severance Hospital, Gangnam Severance Hospital, Ewha Mokdong Hospital, and Ewha Seoul Hospital.

Kim Jinwoo, CEO of Hi, which organizes the seminar, said, "Although the digital healthcare industry for the senior generation is growing, awareness among the direct beneficiaries, seniors, is relatively low," adding, "This year, we plan to work with the country's top specialists to inform what digital healthcare can do for a healthier old age."
