The consultation aims to establish a transparent support system for legislated alternative education institutions and to create a safe educational environment for out-of-school students.
The Busan Office of Education plans to directly inspect educational sites, listen to suggestions, and inform alternative education institutions of the necessary requirements.
The main consultation items include ▲ accounting management and website posting ▲ enrollment in the Student Safety Mutual Aid Association ▲ deferment of compulsory schooling and teacher qualification management ▲ formation and operation of alternative education institution operation committee meetings ▲ the seven standard school safety education guidelines and safety education.
In addition, focused guidance will be provided on matters deliberated by the alternative education institution operation committee such as ‘establishment and revision of school regulations,’ ‘budget proposals and settlements,’ ‘methods of operating the curriculum,’ ‘selection of textbooks and educational materials,’ and ‘setting, raising, and managing tuition fees, admission fees, and operational support funds.’
