Yeosu City Hall 'App', Citizen Communication Plaza Operation
[Yeosu=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Cheol-hoon] Jeollanam-do Yeosu City (Mayor Jeong Gi-myeong) is expanding the citizen participation communication channel to online for open administration that citizens participate in and empathize with.
On the 30th, Yeosu City announced that it will open and operate the communication channel "e-Citizen Communication Plaza," where citizens propose and ask and answer questions to citizens.
"e-Citizen Communication Plaza" operates in two ways: citizen proposals and Yeosu City proposals.

Even policies that do not gain empathy will be asked for empathy semiannually to ensure that citizen proposals are reflected in the city administration as much as possible.
For Yeosu City proposals, when the city sets policy agendas, online surveys are conducted so that citizens' opinions can be reflected in the city administration. It has been decided to reflect citizens' opinions from the planning stage, moving beyond simple existing surveys.
It can be used after downloading the Yeosu City website or Yeosu City Hall app and verifying real names.
Mayor Jeong Gi-myeong of Yeosu City said, "Communication in the 8th popular election term is the core of city administration operation policy, and through the online two-way communication channel, we will use citizens' opinions as a driving force for Yeosu City's development and increase the reliability of city administration."
