[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] Damyang-gun, Jeollanam-do recently announced on the 30th that it was selected as an excellent institution in the final evaluation of the rapid execution of local finances in the second half of last year conducted by Jeollanam-do.
As a result of all employees actively promoting financial execution together, the county executed 80.03% of the target amount, exceeding the initial target execution rate (76.70%) by 3.33 percentage points.
To ensure rapid execution, the county formed an active execution promotion team, held regular and ad hoc execution reporting meetings, and mobilized all administrative power for flawless budget execution by periodically managing large-scale projects and checking reasons for poor execution by project.
In particular, in the consumption and investment sectors, which have a significant impact on stimulating the domestic economy, the county exceeded the combined target amount for the 3rd and 4th quarters by 21%, thereby improving the efficiency of financial management and greatly contributing to revitalizing the local economy.
