Lunch with reporters who covered before and after the announcement of not running for office
[Asia Economy Reporter Naju-seok] Former lawmaker Na Kyung-won said on the 29th, "I don't think there will be any special role for me in this party convention."
Former lawmaker Na, who declared she would not run for the People Power Party leadership election, made this remark after finishing lunch with reporters at a restaurant in Yeouido, Seoul.
Na explained, "I had lunch together with a grateful heart for the hard work of the journalists who covered me, and we had a comfortable conversation. There was no special political meaning; it was a casual gathering."
In fact, the nature of the meeting that day was to treat the reporters who had covered her during the process of declaring her withdrawal as a leading candidate for party leader.
When asked about the possibility of meetings with leading party leadership candidates such as lawmaker Kim Ki-hyun and Ahn Cheol-soo after her withdrawal, she said, "Many people are contacting me," but added, "I haven't organized my thoughts yet."
