Recruiting 50 Young Entrepreneurs! ... Gyeongbuk Startup Academy
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Koo Dae-sun] The Small and Medium Venture Business Corporation Daegu-Gyeongbuk Training Institute is recruiting 50 students for the '2023 Gyeongbuk Youth Startup Academy' until February 6 to foster young entrepreneurs.
The Youth Startup Academy is a project that discovers outstanding young entrepreneurs with promising startup items and innovative technologies, providing a package support for all stages of startup including residence space provision, education and coaching, and commercialization funding support.
Since its operation began in 2011, the Youth Startup Academy has produced 6,741 young entrepreneurs across 18 regions nationwide. Graduates of the Youth Startup Academy have achieved cumulative sales of 3.6818 trillion KRW and created 17,150 new jobs over the past five years.
It has also established itself as a leading training ground for youth technology startups in Korea, producing unicorn companies such as Toss and Zigbang.

The eligibility for applying to the Gyeongbuk Youth Startup Academy is for representatives of startups within three years of establishment who are under 39 years old. Applications can be submitted through the K-Startup website by 2 PM on February 6.
