[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Dongguk Lee] Pohang City is recruiting dining establishments eligible for the kitchen environment improvement project year-round to create a safe dining environment.
The kitchen environment improvement project targets 450 general restaurants and snack bars with a business area of 50㎡ or less within the region, providing up to 90% of facility improvement costs (up to 1.35 million KRW per establishment, with a separate 10% self-payment) for painting, replacement, and cleaning of unsanitary walls, floors, hood facilities, and kitchen equipment.
For more details, please refer to the "Kitchen Environment Improvement Project Subsidy Recipient Recruitment" announcement on the Pohang City website. Establishments wishing to apply should submit application documents to the Food Industry Division of Pohang City Hall.
Last year, Pohang City supported facility improvement costs for 250 general restaurants.
The kitchen environment has become cleaner after the kitchen environment improvement project.
