Phamgen Science, Hiring Athletes with Severe Disabilities
[Asia Economy Reporter Chunhee Lee] On the 18th, PharmGen Science held an 'Employment Contract Signing Ceremony for Disabled Athletes' at the PharmGen Science Bangbae Campus in Seocho-gu, Seoul, and announced on the 20th that they have employed severely disabled athletes Na Daeseok (ice hockey) and Kim Yongjin (disabled lawn bowls).
PharmGen Science stated that they decided to hire the athletes to fulfill their social responsibility and contribute to the development of disabled sports. Going forward, PharmGen Science will support the enhancement of the athletes' social activity capabilities.
The newly hired disabled athletes belong to regional and sport-specific associations. Ice hockey player Na Daeseok is affiliated with the Incheon Metropolitan City Disabled Sports Association, and disabled lawn bowls player Kim Yongjin is affiliated with the Seoul Metropolitan Disabled Lawn Bowls Federation. Under the support of PharmGen Science, the two athletes will participate in various competitions.
