Gwangju Seo-gu and Balgeun Eye Clinic 21 Hospital Sign MOU for Neighborly Love
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Dongho Shin] Seo-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City (Mayor Kim Ikang) announced on the 19th that it signed a public-private cooperation neighborly love business agreement with Bright Eye Clinic 21 Hospital (Chief Director Kim Deokbae) at the Seo-gu Office Nanum Hall on the 17th.

The signing ceremony was held to improve the quality of life of neighbors in need of care who cannot receive ophthalmic treatment due to economic difficulties.
Seo-gu selected vulnerable groups in need of ophthalmic treatment through local welfare centers, and Bright Eye Clinic 21 Hospital promised to support the recipients with cataract surgeries and other treatments.
Chief Director Kim Deokbae said, “I am pleased to be able to provide some help to the neighbors in difficulty in the local community through this agreement ceremony, and I will continue to take an interest in neighbors in welfare blind spots and actively participate in donation activities.”
Seo-gu Mayor Kim Ikang said, “I sincerely thank Bright Eye Clinic 21 Hospital, which actively participates in sponsorships every time despite these economically difficult times more than ever.”
Meanwhile, Bright Eye Clinic 21 Hospital has consistently participated in welfare projects with Seo-gu Office, including medical volunteer work, the “Zero Percent Deskless Children” campaign, and support for warm holidays, in addition to cataract surgery support through this agreement.
