Kim Byung-su, Chief of Gyeongnam Police Agency, Conducts Security Inspection by Helicopter During Lunar New Year Holiday
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Seryeong] Kim Byung-su, Chief of the Gyeongnam Provincial Police Agency, will board a helicopter on the 21st to inspect public safety and major road traffic conditions in the province.
The Provincial Police Agency announced on the 18th that from the 20th to the 24th, during the Lunar New Year holiday period, they will use the police helicopter from the Aviation Unit to check the security status of national key facilities and vulnerable areas within the region, as well as highway traffic conditions.
During this period, Chief Kim plans to inspect areas around the Changwon National Industrial Complex, Namhae Expressway, and Tongyeong-Daejeon Expressway.
The provincial police intend to cooperate with undercover patrol cars on the ground to crack down on violations such as driving in designated lanes, driving on the shoulder, littering, reckless driving, and retaliatory driving vehicles detected during police helicopter flights.

In the event of a major traffic accident, we will actively engage in activities such as emergency patient transport and aerial broadcasting to prevent secondary accidents.”
