According to the cosmetics industry on the 17th, Amorepacific has been limiting the number of products that can be purchased per person at duty-free shops and online malls since last month.
Amorepacific's representative popular products such as Sulwhasoo Yunjo Essence, Hera Black Cushion, and Laneige Neo Cushion are subject to this restriction.
The purchase limit per product is 10 units, with some variations depending on the item.
This measure is interpreted as an effort to prevent so-called 'hoarding,' where certain customers buy products in bulk and resell them. If specific customers purchase large quantities of products, other customers may be unable to buy Amorepacific products, and if hoarding leads to transactions at inflated prices, there is a concern that the brand's competitiveness could be damaged.
