Gwangju Dong-gu Council Visits Welfare Facilities to Practice Warm Sharing
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] The Dong-gu Council of Gwangju Metropolitan City visited welfare facilities in the district on the 16th ahead of the Lunar New Year holiday to hold a warm sharing event.
This visit was organized with the hope that neighbors in need of care would spend the cold winter warmly, amid ongoing economic difficulties such as high inflation and high oil prices, which have led to a decline in acts of kindness.
Chairman Kim Jae-sik and Dong-gu council members delivered rice and ramen to about 20 welfare facilities, including the children's facility Ilmakwon, elderly facilities, disability facilities, and local children's centers, conducting a heartwarming sharing event.
