[Boseong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Cheon-seok] Jeollanam-do Boseong-gun announced that it will hold a special discount event at the online direct transaction market ‘Boseong Mall’ from January 2 to January 27 (26 days) ahead of the Korean Lunar New Year holiday.
During this special discount period, all items in Boseong Mall can be purchased at prices 10% to over 20% cheaper. New members will receive a 2,000 won point accumulation benefit, and 300 won points will be credited when writing product reviews.

Especially, in celebration of the Lunar New Year, two types of gift sets called ‘Boseong-eul Dadamda’ filled with the sincerity of farmers and fishermen are also being sold with great popularity.
A Boseong-gun official said, “To welcome the New Year, we will hold a special discount event where excellent agricultural and specialty products of Boseong can be purchased at affordable prices to revitalize the depressed local economy and improve farmers’ income.”
Meanwhile, Boseong Mall, which has shown a steep sales growth trend, recorded sales of about 4.2 billion won last year despite COVID-19 and economic recession. This year, the target amount has been raised to 5 billion won, and aggressive marketing plans will be promoted.
