Mirae Asset Management Publishes Report 'Completing China Investment with TIGER'
TIGER China Market Leader, Thematic, Leverage and 14 Types of ETFs in Focus
[Asia Economy Reporter Kwangho Lee] Mirae Asset Global Investments announced on the 16th that it has published the report ‘Completing China Investment with TIGER’.
‘Completing China Investment with TIGER’ introduces various contents such as an overview of 14 types of TIGER Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) including TIGER China Market Representative, Thematic, and Leverage ETFs, the structure of the Chinese capital market, major policy directions of the Chinese government and beneficiary themes, and tax-saving methods using TIGER.
This year, China is expected to emerge as a promising investment country due to the reopening of its economy and expectations for economic stimulus following the political turning point of Xi Jinping’s third term administration. Additionally, the Chinese government’s significant easing of the zero-COVID policy after three years is also expected to act as a positive factor.
Reflecting these expectations, as of the 12th, the TIGER China Electric Vehicle SOLACTIVE ETF, a Chinese thematic ETF, ranked first in net purchases by individuals over three months among domestically listed ETFs (excluding leverage and inverse ETFs). The amount reached 211.7 billion KRW.
Oh Min-seok, Head of Global ETF Management at Mirae Asset Global Investments, said, “Interest in China-related ETFs is growing with the forecast of a rebound in the Chinese stock market in 2023,” and added, “The publication of the ‘Completing China Investment with TIGER’ report will be very helpful to investors.”
