SK Ecoplant Wins Busan Goejeong 7 District Redevelopment Project
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Min-young] SK Ecoplant announced on the 15th that it has won the bid for the Busan Goejeong 7 District Redevelopment Maintenance Project.
This project involves constructing apartments and ancillary welfare facilities consisting of 14 buildings with a total of 1,819 households, ranging from 3 basement floors to 29 above-ground floors, in the Goejeong-dong area of Saha-gu, Busan. The total contract amount is 608.4 billion KRW.
SK Ecoplant formed a consortium with Hyundai Construction and succeeded in securing the first urban maintenance project contract of the new year. SK Ecoplant holds a 60% stake.

View original imageThe project site is within walking distance of Saha Station and Goejeong Station on Busan Metro Line 1, with good accessibility to Gimhae Airport and the Gimhae and Changwon areas. The educational environment is excellent, with Sahanam Elementary School, Jangpyeong Middle School, Haedong High School, and Donga High School nearby. The area is also rich in living infrastructure, including Kim's Club and New Core Outlet. Numerous maintenance projects are planned around Saha-gu, and developments such as the Western Busan Tunnel, Busan Metro Line 5 Hadan~Noksan Line, and Eco Delta City are planned, enhancing future value.
