'Ulsan Tourism Business Support Center' Opens ... "Helping Tourism Businesses Start and Grow"
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] The 'Ulsan Tourism Enterprise Support Center,' which will serve as a hub for the startup and growth support of tourism companies in the Ulsan area, has opened.
Ulsan City announced that on the 12th at 3 p.m., it held an opening ceremony for the center on the basement first floor of the Ulsan Exhibition & Convention Center, attended by about 80 people including Deputy Mayor for Economic Affairs An Hyo-dae, representatives from the Korea Tourism Organization, nationwide tourism enterprise support centers, and local tourism company officials.
The Ulsan Tourism Enterprise Support Center was selected through the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism's '2022 Regional Tourism Enterprise Support Center Public Contest' and was established on the basement first floor of the Ulsan Exhibition & Convention Center with a total floor area of 1,038㎡.
The main facilities include a conference room, small meeting rooms, consulting rooms, media rooms, and company office spaces, designed as a multifunctional tourism innovation hub.
The center is responsible for △ supporting the growth of tourism startups △ improving traditional tourism enterprises △ operating a tourism job hub △ revitalizing regional tourism projects △ collaborating with Tourism Dure, among other roles.
The Ulsan Tourism Foundation manages the operation, with a project budget of 10 billion KRW over five years (2022?2026), equally funded by national and city governments (5 billion KRW each).
