[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Song Jong-gu] The Gyeongnam Regional Small and Medium Venture Business Administration under the Ministry of SMEs and Startups will officially operate the ‘SME Difficulty Reception Center due to Suspension of Chinese Visa Issuance’ starting from the 11th, in response to China's announcement of suspending short-term visa issuance for Korean nationals.
Earlier, the Embassy of China in Korea and the Consulate General announced on the 10th via their official WeChat social media accounts that they would suspend the issuance of short-term visas for Korean nationals visiting China for tourism, commercial trade, medical treatment, and general personal reasons.

Additionally, the Ministry of SMEs and Startups headquarters will be informed to establish a cooperative system with related ministries such as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, and Ministry of Justice, and will also closely communicate with related associations and organizations such as the Korea Federation of SMEs to discuss response measures.
