The Excellent Workplaces for Risk Assessment recognition system is a safety and health management activity that identifies harmful and hazardous factors within the workplace in advance, establishes improvement measures, and implements them. The Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency selects workplaces through an evaluation process based on recognition criteria and procedures.
The recognition criteria consist of four items: the employer's level of interest, the level of risk assessment implementation, the participation and understanding level of members, and the level of accident occurrence. The corporation received a high evaluation in the level of risk assessment implementation by improving harmful and hazardous factors through patrol inspections and hearing surveys.
Excellent Workplaces for Risk Assessment can receive various benefits during the recognition validity period (3 years), such as exemption from government safety and health supervision and opportunities for government awards or commendation recommendations.
