Ulsan Ulju-gun to Promote 2023 Livestock Manure Recycling Support Project
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Dongguk Lee] Ulju-gun, Ulsan City is promoting the '2023 Livestock Manure Resource Recycling Support Project' with a total project cost of 1.795 billion KRW.
The support targets are cattle, pig, and chicken farms and producer organizations, and the address and livestock business registration must be in Ulju-gun. However, farms that did not complete or gave up the project last year and those who violated livestock or environmental laws are excluded from the support project.
The main contents are three support projects: ▲sawdust for livestock manure treatment ▲environmental improvement agents ▲installation of livestock barn ventilators.
For livestock manure treatment sawdust, 6,049 tons will be supported; for livestock barn environmental improvement agents, 103 tons of improvement agents and 2,162 deodorant cans will be provided. 440 ventilators will be installed in livestock barns.
Applications for the project can be submitted by visiting the administrative welfare centers of the town or township where the livestock barn is located and filling out the application form by the 20th. For more details, contact the Livestock and Fisheries Division of Ulju-gun Office.

An Ulju-gun official stated, "Through this project, we will establish a stable foundation for local livestock farms, help improve the livestock environment, and greatly contribute to the sustainable development of the livestock industry."
