Korea Sports Journalists Federation 'Golf Industry Status and Development Plan Seminar'
Held at the National Assembly Members' Office Building on the 10th at 10 AM
The Korea Sports Journalists Federation will hold a seminar on the theme of "The Current Status and Development Plans of the Korean Golf Industry" at 10 a.m. on the 10th in Seminar Room 3 of the National Assembly Members' Office Building in Seoul.
Professor Yoo Sang-geon of the Department of Sports ICT Convergence at Sangmyung University will serve as the moderator. Presenters and discussants include Seo Cheon-beom, Director of the Korea Leisure Industry Research Institute, Professor Ok Kwang of Chungbuk National University, Choi Bo-geun, Director of the Sports Bureau at the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and Bae Jae-sung, President of the Korean Sports Media Association. Also participating are Kim Yoon-duk, a member of the National Assembly from the Democratic Party of Korea, Shin Yong-rak, Chair of the Future Planning Committee of the Korean Sports Council, and Jeong Hee-don, President of the Asian Sports Journalists Federation.

Yang Jong-gu, President of the Korea Sports Journalists Federation, explained, "Although golf has established itself as a popular sport domestically, there are considerable institutional shortcomings," adding, "This seminar was organized to identify recent issues and propose development plans."
