It further explained, "Most civilian casualties were caused by widespread explosive weapons such as shelling, multiple launch rocket systems, and missile attacks."
According to the report, during the month of December last year, a total of 801 civilian casualties occurred in Ukraine, including 188 deaths and 613 injuries. Among them, 748 were killed or injured due to explosive weapons such as missiles.
Of the casualties, 688 (85.9%) were civilians living in areas under the jurisdiction of the Ukrainian government. 113 (14.1%) were civilians in Russian-occupied territories such as Luhansk and Donetsk.
