Jang Young-su, President of Pukyong National University, Joins '#END violence' Campaign
President Jang Young-su is participating in the '#END violence' campaign together with Pukyong National University's character 'Baekgyeong-i'.
View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] Jang Young-su, President of the National Pukyong University, participated in the ‘#END violence’ online campaign on the 4th to eradicate violence against children and adolescents worldwide.
This campaign is jointly initiated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and UNICEF to protect children and adolescents around the world who are exposed to various violent situations and to promote solidarity within the international community.
The campaign proceeds in a relay format where participants post photos or videos taken with the ‘#END violence’ campaign logo along with messages to end violence against children on social media and nominate the next participant to continue the campaign.
President Jang Young-su said, “We will do our best to pay attention so that children and adolescents, who will lead our future, can grow up healthy and happy in a world free of violence, and to fulfill the social responsibility of a national university.”
President Jang Young-su joined the campaign upon the nomination of Jeon Ho-hwan, President of Dongmyung University, and nominated Han Su-hwan, President of Dong-Eui University, as the next participant.
