On the 4th, the university announced that two programs, an exhibition and an educational program, from the Changwon National University Museum were simultaneously selected for the promotion support project.
According to the university, as part of this project, the Changwon National University Museum conducted a local rubbing survey of tombstones of early Korean immigrants in Hawaii and revealed the results in a special exhibition titled "Forgotten Stories Become History" in August last year.
The exhibition was the first to reveal that the immigrant graves belonged to unknown independence activists.
Through the educational program "Our Neighborhood University Museum First Period," educational videos on local cultural heritage produced directly by enrolled students were used in actual classes attended by over 3,000 local elementary and middle school students.
