Gwangju Seo-gu Recruiting Participants for 'Financial Support Job Project' Until the 6th

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Shin Dong-ho] Seo-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City (Mayor Kim Yi-gang) announced on the 3rd that it is recruiting participants for the 2023 first half fiscal support job project until the 6th.

The fiscal support job project is a public job program promoted by local governments to provide basic income necessary for livelihood to vulnerable groups such as low-income families and long-term unemployed individuals.

This first half of the year, Seo-gu plans to recruit 94 people for a total of 44 projects including public service work support, resource recycling, and environmental maintenance. Eligibility requires residents of Seo-gu aged 18 or older with household income at or below 70% of the median income and combined household assets of 400 million KRW or less.

Residents selected for this project will receive a monthly salary of about 1.1 million KRW based on 4 hours of work per day and will also receive benefits from the four major social insurances.

Residents wishing to participate should bring their ID and visit the administrative welfare center in their jurisdiction or the Job Center on the first floor of Seo-gu Office to apply.
