According to the Korea Meteorological Administration on the 31st, the minimum temperature on the morning of January 1st next year is forecasted to be between -11 and 3 degrees Celsius, and the maximum temperature in the afternoon is expected to be between 0 and 10 degrees Celsius. From this day, temperatures will rise, resulting in relatively mild weather. However, in Yeongseo, Gangwon Province, less than 0.1 cm of snow is expected to fall at dawn.
Fine dust levels are forecasted to be 'bad' in the Seoul metropolitan area, Yeongseo in Gangwon, Chungcheong region, Honam region, Busan, Daegu, Gyeongbuk, Gyeongnam, and Jeju area. Other regions are expected to have 'moderate' levels. The southern part of Gyeonggi Province is expected to temporarily experience 'very bad' levels in the morning.
The east coast, frequently visited to watch the sunrise, is expected to be mostly clear.
