Asiad CC Donates Neighbor Aid Fund to Busan City and Community Chest of Korea

The ceremony was attended by Lee Seong-gwon, Deputy Mayor for Economic Affairs, Kim Dohyung, CEO of Asiad Country Club, Choi Geumsik, Chairman of Busan Community Chest of Korea, and other officials.
On this day, Asiad Country Club donated 30 million KRW to Busan Community Chest of Korea to support marginalized neighbors during the year-end and New Year season. The donated funds will be used through Busan Community Chest of Korea to assist low-income neighbors in welfare blind spots.
Deputy Mayor for Economic Affairs Lee Seong-gwon said, "During the year-end and New Year season, warm hands of local companies in Busan continue to help neighbors," and added, "We appreciate today's donation, and as Asiad CC is a representative investment institution of Busan City, we hope it will continue to play a role as a beloved institution for citizens through active social contribution activities for Busan citizens."
Asiad Country Club, an investment institution of Busan City, was established for the golf events of the 2002 Busan Asian Games and has hosted several KLPGA tournaments. From 2019 to 2021, it contributed to enhancing Busan City's global city brand image and status by hosting the only LPGA regular tour tournament in Korea. Especially this year, it is emerging as a prestigious golf course representing Busan by successfully hosting the KPGA tournament, '2022 Asiad CC Busan Open.'
