LH Lease Dispute Mediation Committee to Transfer to Korea Real Estate Board Starting Next Year
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Min-young] The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport announced on the 28th that four of the six Lease Dispute Mediation Committees operated by the Korea Land and Housing Corporation will be transferred to and operated by the Korea Real Estate Board starting next year.
This is part of the functional adjustment under the "Korea Land and Housing Corporation Innovation Plan." To this end, the revision of the "Enforcement Decree of the Housing Lease Protection Act" has been completed, and consultations are underway with the Korea Land and Housing Corporation and the Korea Real Estate Board to ensure smooth operation from January 1st of next year.
Meanwhile, to assist in the autonomous resolution of housing lease-related disputes, a "Housing Lease Dispute Mediation Casebook," containing major mediation cases from the Lease Dispute Mediation Committees, will be published and distributed on the 29th.
