Miryang City to Maintain 10% Benefit on Miryang Love Gift Certificates Next Year
Alleviating Citizen Economic Burden, Revitalizing Local Economy
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Wook] Miryang City, Gyeongnam Province, will continue to issue the Miryang Love Gift Certificate next year with a 10% discount benefit to alleviate the economic burden on citizens caused by high interest rates and high prices and to revitalize the local economy.
The scale of the Miryang Love Gift Certificate issuance next year is 80 billion KRW, issued in three types: 70 billion KRW in card form, 5 billion KRW in paper form, and 5 billion KRW in mobile form (Zero Pay).
The Miryang Love Card and mobile gift certificates will be available for sale from 9 a.m. on January 1 and can be purchased through the ‘Miryang Love Card’ app and Zero Pay apps (Beeple Zero Pay, All One Bank, etc.). However, paper gift certificates can be purchased from January 18 at 48 financial institutions acting as sales agents within the city. The individual purchase limit for Miryang Love Gift Certificates is 600,000 KRW per month for cards and 200,000 KRW per month each for paper and mobile types.
The Miryang Love Gift Certificate was issued in the amount of 89 billion KRW this year and was so popular that it was sold out early. In a survey conducted among citizens and small business owners (3,502 respondents), over 90% responded that it had an economic revitalization effect, and user satisfaction with the gift certificate was very high at 93%.
