"Meeting the Four Seasons of Yeongyang's White Birch" ... Solo Exhibition of Artist Son Kyung-su Held
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Gwi-yeol] Yeongyang County, Gyeongbuk, will hold a special invitational exhibition by artist Son Kyung-su titled "Meeting the Four Seasons Birch Trees of Yeongyang" at the Yeongyang Cultural Center exhibition hall for 10 days from the 26th to January 4th.
This exhibition, "Meeting the Four Seasons Birch Trees of Yeongyang," features over 40 works including various watercolors capturing the beautiful four seasons of Yeongyang and its birch trees. The viewing hours are from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and admission is free.
Invited artist Son Kyung-su, born in Yeongyang County, boasts a distinguished record including special selections at the Korea Art Exhibition and 30 awards in national contests. He has also deeply moved many people through numerous solo exhibitions and currently serves as the president of the Yeongyang Artists Association, contributing to the development of local art.
Artist Son Kyung-su said, "I am pleased to have the opportunity to share paintings depicting the beautiful four seasons of Yeongyang and birch trees with local residents, and I expect it will be a chance to promote Yeongyang’s picturesque and beautiful nature."
