Busan Office of Education Selected as Top Institution for Records Management Evaluation Two Consecutive Times
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] The Busan Metropolitan Office of Education was selected as the top institution with a high score for the second consecutive time by receiving an 'A grade' in the '2022 Records Management Institution Evaluation,' following the 2020 evaluation.
The 'Records Management Institution Evaluation' is conducted every two years by the National Archives of the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, and this year it was carried out targeting 231 public institutions nationwide, including metropolitan and provincial offices of education and city/provincial governments.
The Busan Metropolitan Office of Education scored 98.4 points in this evaluation, higher than the national average of 89.3 points for metropolitan and provincial offices of education and the overall institutional average of 81.3 points.
Busan Office of Education received full marks in the areas of records management work foundation and work promotion, and scored 18.4 out of 20 points in policy indicators such as key records management initiatives.
The National Archives evaluated, "The Busan Metropolitan Office of Education has an overall very excellent level of records management and has stabilized at a high level across all indicator areas."
