Yanolja Donates Over 108 Million Won for Children with Pediatric Cancer
Donation of Employee Fundraising to Korea Leukemia Children's Foundation
Cumulative Support of 800 Million Won Since 2010
Global leisure platform Yanolja announced on the 26th that it donated 108,477,000 KRW to the Korea Leukemia Children's Foundation.
The donation will be used for family relationship enhancement programs that help families of pediatric cancer patients, who repeatedly experience hospital admissions and discharges, create memories, as well as for the treatment costs of pediatric cancer and other rare incurable diseases of similar severity.
Yanolja raised the donation through employee fundraising. Since 2010, it has been steadily donating to the Korea Leukemia Children's Foundation. The cumulative donation amount for children with pediatric cancer is 800 million KRW.
Baek Bo-chan, CEO of Yanolja Group Management Division, said, "As Yanolja is leading the way in creating a leisure environment where everyone can enjoy with peace of mind, we gathered the heartfelt wishes of our employees hoping that pediatric cancer patients can also travel healthily next year and delivered the donation." He added, "We plan to continue taking the lead in coexistence with local communities through various social contribution activities."
