Geumcheon-gu Awards Beomil Transport and Mario Outlet as Outstanding Eco Mileage Companies

The Seoul Metropolitan Government selects outstanding organizations by comprehensively evaluating greenhouse gas emissions and energy-saving practices among Eco Mileage member organizations, providing incentives based on the scale of energy usage.
Among the 25 outstanding organizations selected in the second half of 2022, two from Geumcheon-gu?Beomil Transport and Mario Outlet?received incentives of 5 million KRW and 3 million KRW respectively, totaling 8 million KRW.
These workplaces practiced energy saving by replacing old boilers with low-NOx burners that improve combustion efficiency and limiting heating and cooling operation times. Additionally, the incentives were invested in replacing LED lights, creating a virtuous cycle of energy saving.
Geumcheon-gu is actively recruiting individual and group members centered around community service centers to expand the spread of Eco Mileage, and is making efforts to broaden the culture of energy saving by holding energy-saving competitions targeting workplaces in Geumcheon-gu.
