18 Nationwide Youth Startup Academy Startups Gathered in One Place
'2022 Cheongnyeon Startup Academy Demo Day' Held
Kim Hak-do, Chairman of the Korea Institute of Startup & Entrepreneurship Development, is speaking at the '2022 Youth Startup Academy Demo Day' held on the 22nd in Myeongdong, Seoul.
View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] The Ministry of SMEs and Startups (Minister Lee Young) and the Korea SMEs and Startups Agency (Chairman Kim Hak-do, hereinafter KOSME) announced on the 22nd that they held the 'Youth Startup Academy (hereinafter YSA) Demo Day.'
This event was planned to provide young entrepreneurs with opportunities for investment attraction and business advancement, attended by about 300 stakeholders from the startup ecosystem, including YSA admission and graduation companies. This year, it was held as the first nationwide offline event since COVID-19, featuring various programs such as demo day, mentoring, policy linkage, networking, and trend lectures.
At the demo day, the final eight companies selected through regional preliminaries and regional finals among YSA admission companies nationwide participated. In addition, exhibition booths for promoting startup products and policy linkage booths to expand business connection support were installed. Support projects from affiliated organizations such as KOSME, Korea Institute of Industrial Technology, Korea Internet & Security Agency, IBK Investment & Securities, and Korea Technology and Information Promotion Agency for SMEs were introduced and consultations were conducted.
