Police Send Former Yonsei University Professor to Prosecution on Charges of Leaking Practical Exam Music

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Taewon] The Seodaemun Police Station in Seoul announced on the 22nd that they have sent former Yonsei University music professor A, who was arrested for leaking entrance exam performance pieces to a student while conducting illegal private tutoring, to the prosecution.
According to the police, A was arrested on the 16th on charges of obstruction of business and violation of the Academy Act for informing student B, whom he was tutoring, in advance about the designated pieces for the Yonsei University entrance performance exam where he was employed as a professor last August. The police forwarded music academy director C, who requested A to teach B, to the prosecution without detention.

Earlier, posts claiming that the performance pieces for the Yonsei University entrance exam were leaked before the release of the admission guidelines appeared on online communities related to music college entrance exams. When the issue arose, Yonsei University changed all the entrance exam pieces, formed a fact-finding committee, and then requested a police investigation.
