Yongin City Expands Traffic Infrastructure in Cheoin-gu for 'Semiconductor Cluster' Development... 107.5 Billion Won Invested
[Asia Economy (Yongin) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Yongin City in Gyeonggi Province is expanding transportation infrastructure in the Cheoin-gu area, where a large number of materials, parts, and equipment companies related to the SK Hynix semiconductor cluster industrial complex are moving in.
Yongin City announced on the 22nd that it will invest 107.5 billion KRW starting next year to carry out road facility construction on 75 routes in Cheoin-gu.
The city’s road department will handle 18 routes with a budget of 54.1 billion KRW, while the Cheoin-gu Office will manage 57 routes with 53.4 billion KRW. Specifically, the projects include ▲ construction of a new road connecting Hwaseong-Gwangju Expressway Pogok IC ▲ expansion of a 2.24 km section from Maseong Intersection to Pogok IC into four lanes ▲ construction of a 200 m connecting road from Pogok IC to National Road No. 45 ▲ expansion and paving of roads near Yongma Elementary School and Namgok Elementary School.
