Up to 6.0% Interest! ... BNK Busan Bank Launches Digital Desk Exclusive 'The Teukpan Savings'
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] BNK Busan Bank launched the "The Special Savings" account, available for subscription through the video consultation-only counter "Digital Desk," on the 22nd.
The product will be sold temporarily until January 31, and eligible subscribers are individual customers aged 19 or older with real names, limited to one account per person.
The subscription period is one year, with a minimum subscription amount of 1,000 KRW and flexible monthly deposits up to 300,000 KRW.
The basic interest rate is 4.0%, and if automatic transfers are made for more than 8 months during the subscription period, an additional preferential interest rate of 2.0%p is applied, resulting in a maximum interest rate of 6.0%.
This savings product is sold only at nine Busan area branches equipped with Digital Desks: Daeyeon-dong Financial Center, Sasang Industrial Complex Branch, Bugok-dong Branch, Bupyeong-dong Branch, Gaegum Sarang Office, Banyeo 2-dong Office, Yeonan Office, Namcheon Samik Unmanned Branch, and Daeyeon Innovation Unmanned Branch. From January 10 next year, subscriptions will also be available at Gupo Financial Center.
Oh Seong-ho, Head of Digital Finance at Busan Bank, said, "We hope that the Digital Desk will provide an opportunity for various customers, including socially vulnerable groups, to subscribe to high-interest savings products," and added, "Busan Bank will continue to do its best to coexist with digitally marginalized groups as a representative financial institution of the region."
The Digital Desk is a service where customers can conduct transactions via video with specialized consultation staff at the head office from the counter, handling most banking tasks such as ▲new deposits, savings, and housing subscription ▲loan consultation and application ▲internet and mobile banking registration ▲issuance of various cards.
