First Showcase of 'Media Facade Video Demonstration' at Masan Museum Outdoor Plaza
Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam held a media facade video demonstration at the outdoor plaza of the Changwon Municipal Masan Museum.

Selected in February last year for the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism's 'Immersive Content Production and Experience Zone Creation' contest project, the media facade video production and system construction have been underway for 1 year and 3 months since September 2021. The total project cost is 840 million KRW.
The demonstration was attended by about 70 people including Hong Yong-chae and Seo Young-kwon, members of the Changwon Special City Council, and Choi Seong-sook, honorary director of Changwon Municipal Masan Moonshin Museum of Art.
Before the event, a large LED media art wall showcased award-winning works from the 2021 Changwon Tourism Photo Contest featuring the beautiful scenery of our region. Through three themed videos based on valuable local cultural assets such as the Choi Chi-won related historic sites, the Happo Naval Battle and Angolpo Naval Battle, and works by the world-renowned artist Moonshin, as well as seasonal videos, a vivid media art show was produced on the outer wall of Masan Museum.
Residents who attended the demonstration said, "We couldn't take our eyes off the media facade, which we saw for the first time in our lives. We want to come back to Masan Museum with our families to enjoy it again."

Park Mi-sook, Director of Cultural Heritage Development, said, "We hope to create a differentiated and specialized media art show unique to our region, becoming a new nighttime landmark frequently visited by citizens," adding, "We plan to screen it to citizens after collecting various opinions and supplementing the content."
