The Korea Fire Industry Technology Institute announced on the 21st that it opened the Suwon (Gwanggyo) office on the 20th inside the Gyeonggi Economic Science Promotion Agency in Yeongtong, Gwanggyo Technovalley, Suwon, to support the growth foundation of fire industry companies for fostering the fire industry and to strengthen customer complaint services for manufacturers such as fire product inspections.
The newly opened Suwon (Gwanggyo) office will carry out support projects for small and medium fire manufacturing companies through collaboration with multiple related organizations including the Gyeonggi Economic Science Promotion Agency, Gyeonggi Credit Guarantee Foundation, and Small and Medium Business Corporation.
Jae Jin-su, Science Director of the Gyeonggi Economic Science Promotion Agency, said, "Since 2020, the Gyeonggi Economic Science Promotion Agency and the Korea Fire Industry Technology Institute have signed an MOU to seek a cooperative relationship for corporate support," adding, "Through this relocation, we expect to strengthen support for small and medium enterprises in the province and revitalize the fire industry."
Kim Il-su, President of the Korea Fire Industry Technology Institute, explained, "We will do our best to promote the fire industry through the Suwon (Gwanggyo) office, including support for fire product exports and patents," and added, "In addition, we plan to actively support inspection complaint services to provide fire product inspection services, eliminate safety blind spots, and realize public safety."
