Pohang Namgu Health Center Recognized for Flawless Elderly Care Service Achievements This Year!
Visiting Health Care Project and AI·IoT-Based Senior Health Care Project Each Win Excellence Award
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Dongguk Lee] On the 20th, Pohang-si Nam-gu Public Health Center received excellence awards in the Visiting Health Management Project category and the AI·IoT-based Senior Health Management Project Best Practice category at the '2022 Digital Healthcare Project Integrated Performance Competition' hosted by the Ministry of Health and Welfare for public health centers nationwide, held at Lotte Hotel World in Seoul.
This performance competition was held to encourage the achievements of cities and counties that contributed to the efficient operation of public health center health promotion projects and the improvement of community health, and to share their results.
Despite the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic, Nam-gu Public Health Center was selected as an outstanding institution in the visiting health management project among health institutions that actively carried out health promotion projects utilizing digital technology to contribute to national health promotion, receiving a commendation from the Ministry of Health and Welfare. It also received an excellence award in recognition of its efforts in providing a successful case of non-face-to-face health management services for seniors.
Nam-gu Public Health Center lends devices and AI speakers to vulnerable elderly individuals who require frailty and chronic disease management and improvement of health management behaviors, providing customized health management services and health consultations throughout the year.
