[Asia Economy Reporter Yu Je-hoon] Ram Emanuel, the US Ambassador to Japan, said that the US government and bipartisan members of Congress support the Japanese government's revision of the three major security documents, Kyodo News reported on the 20th.

Ambassador Emanuel also said, "A year ago, China did not fire missiles into Japan's Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ), and North Korea's provocations were not as frequent as they are now," and regarding the increase in defense spending and the new security strategy, he described them as "appropriate measures for defense."
