World Cup Trophy in 400-Hour Handmade Case... Carried by Advertising Model
French luxury brand Louis Vuitton announced on the 19th that it unveiled the trophy trunk at the 2022 FIFA Qatar World Cup final held at Lusail Stadium in Doha, Qatar.
The World Cup winning trophy attracted the attention of people worldwide even at the public event.
On the 19th (local time), a trophy unveiling event was held ahead of the World Cup final at Lusail Stadium in Doha, Qatar.
Deepika Padukone, a French luxury brand Louis Vuitton ambassador and actress, and former football player Iker Casillas appeared holding a square case, inside of which the trophy was contained.
This is the fourth time Louis Vuitton has designed the World Cup trophy case. Louis Vuitton produces all trophy cases at a workshop located in Asni?res, France. Each case undergoes more than 400 hours of skilled artisan handcrafting.

Before the World Cup opening, Louis Vuitton also ran an advertisement for the trophy case, featuring models Lionel Messi (35, Argentina) and Cristiano Ronaldo (37, Portugal). The advertisement depicts the two football players using a Louis Vuitton Damier trunk briefcase as an impromptu chessboard to compete against each other.
