Hugel Selected as an Excellent Public-Private Partnership Institution by Seoul City
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Chun-hee] Hugel announced on the 20th that it was selected as an ‘Outstanding Public-Private Partnership Institution of 2022’ by the Seoul Metropolitan Government and received a commendation from the Mayor of Seoul.
The Outstanding Public-Private Partnership Institution commendation is an award system in which the Seoul Metropolitan Government selects and encourages exemplary institutions that have actively practiced public-private cooperation over the past three years, contributing to the improvement of citizens’ quality of life and the development of city administration.
Since 2017, Hugel has been consistently supporting the clinical derma cosmetic brand ‘Wellage’ products, earning recognition for contributing to stabilizing the living standards and enhancing the self-esteem of women in vulnerable groups. In particular, through the social contribution program ‘Real Me Campaign’ launched in 2019, Hugel has been cooperating with the Seoul Metropolitan Government since 2020 to deliver products to women in beauty blind spots such as single-mother families, low-income female adolescents, and immigrant women in Seoul. Over the past three years, it has donated more than 280,000 basic cosmetics through 53 women’s protection institutions linked with the Seoul Metropolitan Government.
