Yangju 'Technovalley and Eunnam General Industrial Complex' Loss Compensation Begins
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Gyeonggi Housing and Urban Corporation (GH) has begun negotiations for loss compensation regarding the 'Gyeonggi Yangju Technovalley' urban high-tech industrial complex and the 'Yangju Eunnam General Industrial Complex.'
The Gyeonggi Yangju Technovalley is an urban high-tech industrial complex being developed on a 218,000㎡ site in Majun-dong, Yangju City. The project is jointly implemented by Gyeonggi Province and Yangju City (37%) and GH (63%). Following the announcement of the compensation plan in July, an appraisal to determine the compensation amount was conducted from September to November. The Gyeonggi Yangju Technovalley is being developed with the goal of establishing a platform based on advanced manufacturing. Construction will begin in 2023.
The Yangju Eunnam General Industrial Complex is located on a 992,000㎡ site in Dohari, Eunhyeon-myeon, and Sangsu-ri, Nam-myeon, Yangju City, where industrial facilities such as food products, textile products, electronics, telecommunications equipment manufacturing, as well as warehousing and transportation services will be established. The project implementers are Yangju City (30%) and GH (70%). Following the announcement of the compensation plan in June, an appraisal to determine the compensation amount was conducted from September to November. The Yangju Eunnam General Industrial Complex is a project aimed at clustering individual factories and fostering specialized companies, with construction starting in 2023.

Negotiations for loss compensation in the Yangju district will continue until February 28 of next year, and compensation payments will be made after the ownership transfer registration. The compensation contract can be signed after making a prior reservation through the online reservation system (compensation contract reservation system on the GH website).
