Namhae FM is a broadcast operated and produced directly by local residents. It aims to be “a community-like broadcast for county residents, open to anyone in the local community.”
At the opening ceremony, Chairman Sanghyuk Han said, “Community radio is a medium very suitable for communication within the local community and the development of the local community. I hope Namhae FM will create an open forum for the local community.”
Meanwhile, Chairman Sanghyuk Han visited Yeosu MBC on the same day to observe the broadcasting production site and discuss local broadcasting policy issues with executives. He also urged attention to the safety of local residents, including the implementation of campaigns to prevent safety accidents.
