On the same day, President Kim held a communication and empathy event with employees and promised, "I will not only keep the president's office door wide open but also practice field-centered management through direct communication visits."
He also emphasized, "I will lead the development and innovation of Pyeongtaek Port Authority through the various experiences and knowledge accumulated over more than 20 years in the shipping and logistics industries."
In particular, he stated, "The world is currently facing rapidly changing internal and external future environmental changes such as climate crisis response, social responsibilities like safety, and post-COVID-19," and presented management goals to respond to these changes, including ▲support for building future-oriented port infrastructure ▲customer-centered port marketing ▲securing sustainable growth engines ▲establishing an ESG management system.
After the communication and empathy event with employees, President Kim visited the Pyeongtaek Port hydrogen production base and hydrogen transportation complex base to inspect the plan for establishing a carbon-neutral port at Pyeongtaek Port.
