[Asia Economy Reporter Park Sun-mi] Hanwha Systems announced on the 16th that it has been selected as a ‘2022 Community Contribution Recognized Company’ organized by the Ministry of Health and Welfare and the Korea National Council on Social Welfare.
The Community Contribution Recognition System is a program that acknowledges companies’ continuous social and environmental contribution activities and their level of sustainable management. Companies are selected through fair and objective evaluations based on a total of 25 indicators across 8 assessment areas, including Environmental Management (E), Social Contribution (S), and Ethical Management (G).
Hanwha Systems received the highest rating in environmental management, social contribution awareness, promotion system, network building, and ethical management. Seongcheol Uh, CEO of Hanwha Systems, said, “We are honored that our efforts to practice ESG management have been recognized through this Community Contribution Recognition System. Moving forward, we will fulfill our corporate social responsibility through various social contribution activities that contribute to securing ESG management competitiveness as well as the balanced development of local communities.”
