View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Noh Kyung-jo] Samsung C&T Construction Division and the Embassy of Finland in Korea announced on the 15th that they will hold the 'Moomin Family's Winter House' exhibition at Raemian Gallery until February 15 next year.
Raemian Gallery is a residential culture experience center located in Munjeong-dong, Songpa-gu, Seoul, and is open to the public for free viewing. It features a main hall on the 1st floor, residential spaces on the 5th floor, and a landscaping area called Nature Gallery. If visitors wish to join a docent tour, they can make a reservation through the Raemian website. Previously, from September to November, a special exhibition event featuring 'Anne of Green Gables' was held to commemorate the renewal of Raemian Gallery.
Moomin is a character representing Finland and is loved worldwide. It is modeled after the troll, a creature from Nordic mythology, and pursues a peaceful life in harmony with nature.
Samsung C&T exhibits the daily life of Moomin, which resembles the nature of Finland, to convey the natural-friendly and warm family image that Raemian pursues. The Moomin special exhibition opening ceremony, held at 10 a.m. on the day, was attended by Pekka Mets?, the Ambassador of Finland to Korea, and Kim Myung-seok, Vice President and Head of the Housing Division at Samsung C&T. After the opening ceremony, a docent tour and commemorative photo session took place.
Ambassador Pekka Mets? said in his congratulatory speech, "I am very pleased that Finland's iconic character Moomin and Korea's representative apartment brand Raemian are collaborating," and "I wish for the success of this exhibition."
