Joseyeyong Mokpo Mir Dental Hospital Awards 20 Million Won Scholarship to Local Youth
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] The Jeonnam Community Chest of Korea (Chairman Nodongil, Jeonnam Sarangui Yeolmae) announced on the 15th that Dr. Joseyong Cho, director of Mokpo Mir Dental Hospital, donated 20 million won in scholarships to teenagers in Mokpo city.
The day before, a donation ceremony was held at Mokpo Mir Dental Hospital attended by Kim Donggeuk, Secretary General of Jeonnam Sarangui Yeolmae, Dr. Joseyong Cho, director of Mokpo Mir Dental Hospital, Jo Yeonju, head of the Education Support Division of Jeonnam Mokpo Office of Education, and related officials.
Director Cho joined as the 14th Honor Society member of Mokpo in 2018, participating in the spread of the noblesse oblige sharing culture, and in 2019, he also provided scholarships to 18 middle school students in Mokpo city.
Since 2004, he has continued various domestic and international social volunteer activities such as free dental treatment at Mokpo Gyeongaewon and Gwangmyeongwon, KBS Happiness Sharing Medical Volunteer Service, overseas medical volunteer service in Kyrgyzstan, and medical treatment for Sewol ferry disaster victims' families. He has been awarded the Minister of Strategy and Finance Commendation as a sincere taxpayer on the 50th Taxpayer's Day and received the Model Taxpayer Commendation on the 56th Taxpayer's Day.
